Sameer Lalani is an entrepreneur and business leader based in Atlanta, Georgia, serving as the CEO and Founder of Cheque Express and Check Reliance. Originally from Mumbai, India, he moved to the U.S. at 13, excelling in cricket with the Atlanta Dream Team and staying deeply engaged in the Ismaili Muslim community through volunteer initiatives. Sameer’s early exposure to business came from his entrepreneurial parents in Atlanta’s convenience store industry. He earned a BBA from Emory University and a Master’s in Global Business from Georgia Tech.
Through innovation and persistence, Sameer has grown Cheque Express into a leading money service business. His leadership emphasizes teamwork and problem-solving. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, travel, international sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
